It’s not so much that I wanted to fit in, as much as I wanted to feel comfortable just being myself. And in these rooms, I can be all of me without hesitation or regret or embarrassment. And when I can be all of me, I can love all of me.
In these rooms we admire one for being geniune, transparent and honest. We strive for such attributes.
I am a grateful alcoholic that found my tribe.
If I can master love for myself, what others think matters not.
If I cared more, would I try harder?
A good attitude is all about knowing where to stand.
A first response, not a last resort.
If it’s not a challenge, it’s just not any fun.
Perhaps life is the same way . . .
When we set a goal, we set an intention.
When we have expectations, we create resentments.
When we are of service to others, we are blessing ourselves.
When we let go of our will, we unlock our chains.
When we surrender, we learn to fly.
Who you are is more important than what you do; but what you do and how you behave, over time, will mold and amend who you are.
